Soul Sounds are a duo or trio comprising of Simone, the fantastic lead vocalist and your choice of either a keys player or acoustic guitarist. If you would like the trio option; simply add drums.
Soul Sounds are suitable for any occasion; they are able to play a varied repertoire of music from old school classic soul and jazz to reworked contemporary pop tunes. Their set list is primarily soul based but as well as that, they cover tunes from Kings of Leon to Adele so they really can cater their set to whatever your needs may be.
Between the musicians they have played at many high profile venues and events such as:- The Closing Ceremony for The London Olympics 2012 (London Olympic Park), Birmingham NEC/ICC, Celtic Manor, The Royal Albert Hall, The O2 London, The Diamond Jubilee, Windsor Castle and many top London hotels including The Dorchester, Hilton Hotel, Landmark Hotel to name but a few.
Soul Sounds regularly play jazz lunches, live music events and wedding dinners as well as various private functions across the country. They also have a residency at a VIP nightclub so their music is extremely diverse.
Soul Sounds individually have backed many named artists such as Joss Stone, Muse, Take That, The Who and Maverick Sabre.
Their experience of the industry is second to none and it is their professionalism, reliability and talent that get Soul Sounds booked time and time again. You can ensure a fantastic event with top class entertainment when booking Soul Sounds.
We were introduced to Simone some 3 years ago and she has been a regular performer at our Sunday Brunch sessions ever since; never failing to deliver universally popular sets of classic standards and more contemporary material, Simone has one of the finest RnB and Soul voices around and marries it to a superb understanding of the songs she sings and – more importantly from our point of view – an utterly reliable and professional attitude.
She then introduced us to Jack. Jack is a wonderfully talented pianist/keyboard player with a superb feel for the music he plays. Incidentally, he has a unusually good grasp of the theory of music and composition in one so young. Like Simone, Jack is a consumate professional, being utterly reliable and sympathetic to the requirements of his audience.
Soul Sounds are undoubtedly highly talented musicians – there a many who can make that claim – but when that ability is coupled with such a high degree of professionalism and reliability, and with their personalities as really lovely people and good friends it makes them – to my mind – really rather special.
We look forward to many more Sundays at 3G with Soul Sounds.
